Praia do Baixio is located 128 km from the "Deputato Luis Eduardo Magalhães" International Airport of Salvador de Bahia. Exit from the BA-99 Estrada do Coco – Linha Verde at kilometer 121, the exit for Palame and Praia do Baixio. From the exit, continue 7.5 km along a paved road to reach Baixio. Praia do Baixio can also be reached from Salvador de Bahia using the omnibus company Expresso Linha Verde Ltda, which has multiple departures throughout the day. The Linha Verde is Brazil's first ecological road.
